Evergreen Group began with the establishment of Evergreen Marine Corporation (EMC) by Dr. Yung-Fa Chang on 1 September 1968. Evergreen understands the usage of advanced technology to provide information as the key to strengthen competitiveness. Evergreen has more than 240 service locations and covers more than 80 countries with its shipping network.
Responding to the then current trends in liner shipping, Evergreen launched its first full container service in 1975, connecting the Far East and the US East Coast.
Evergreen’s network includes several East-West routes linking southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mainland China, Korea, and Japan with the East and west coasts of US. It provides services from Japan, Korea, Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia to Europe and the Mediterranean. Evergreen Line recently introduced new services to and from Africa and the Red Sea. Evergreen agents along with the Evergreen Logistics Corp. with their worldwide network can provide door to door service to customers on an international level.
Evergreen Line is the unified common trade name for the five shipping companies of the Group. The brand “Evergreen Line” is used for international marketing
purposes for:
